Arnaud Demare won the Maglia Ciclamino as the best sprinter, Koen Bouwman won the Maglia Azzurra as best climber, Juanpe Lopes won the Maglia Bianca as best young rider. Bahrain Victorious won the best team, and two legends rode their last Giro d’Italia, Vincenzo Nibali and Alejandro Valverde.
