Take a 13.1-mile tour through the Borough of Kings, from Prospect Park to Coney Island Boardwalk. The Brooklyn Half Marathon will begin outside of Prospect Park before taking runners through the park itself. After completing nearly a full loop of the park, runners will exit toward Ocean Parkway and follow the road down to the finish on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Enjoy the beach or dip your feet in the sea before celebrating your achievements in the Big Apple.

2023 RBC Brooklyn Half

The RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon takes runners on a 13.1-mile journey through the diverse neighbourhoods of Brooklyn, beginning at the Brooklyn Museum, passing the Grand Army Plaza, and running through Prospect Park and along Ocean Parkway to the finish line on the Coney Island boardwalk.

Itinerary

Thursday 18th May - Arrival day

Make your own arrangements to arrive at your hotel in Brooklyn. If you arrive early, then you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings or go and check out the event Expo and pick up your race pack.

Friday 19th May - Expo and registration

If you didn’t collect your bib yesterday, please do so this morning. There is no possibility of bib collection on race day. The rest of the day and evening is free for you to enjoy New York at your leisure. There are many things to do in Downtown Brooklyn which is right on your doorstep so you can sightsee without fear of being on your feet too much. Perhaps enjoy a bite to eat at Time Out Market with stunning Manhattan views behind or enjoy a drink and relax in the hotel.

Saturday 20th May - Brooklyn Half Marathon

Your training is done, the race is here and soon you will be wearing a well-deserved medal! The RBC Brooklyn Half is expected to start at 7am. Early breakfast at the hotel and a short walk to the start. The finish is on Coney Island, a perfect place to enjoy the festivities, the beach or dip your feet in the sea before you make your way back to the hotel. It's about 30mins by train. Tonight you can celebrate…..you deserve it!

Sunday 21st May - Departure day

Unless you have booked extra nights with us then today, we ask that you check out of your room before 11am. We trust that you will have enjoyed your RBC Brooklyn Half experience and wish you a pleasant journey home or onward to your next destination.
