• Florence Marathon is now the second largest Italian marathon (after Rome). A flat marathon course, the route takes you through centuries of art, culture, and history with views over the enchanting hills and countryside. You start and finish at the majestic Piazza Duomo and will pass iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral Square, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the majestic Piazza Sante Croce. The road is entirely asphalted and ramp-free, except for the short, slightly sloping stretch of road at the start, and these characteristics make it a particularly fast route appreciated by runners.

• Thousands of runners join every year to be part of this spectacular marathon. With a time limit of 6 hours, it will suit all fitness level runners. With so much to see and do, Florence offers the perfect place to sightsee and explore with all the excitement of running a marathon event. Our local guides will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly and you can the concentrate on enjoying the race and weekend.
