After 5 years in Madrid, EcoTrail moves to Valencia in 2022. The project was born from the desire to offer the city of Valencia and its surroundings a true eco-responsible career, close to nature and accessible to all. An opportunity to highlight the cultural and natural character of this region with respect for nature and the promotion of Trail Running.

Join the 1st edition EcoTrail Valencia and choose from the 80km, 43km and 20km race. Each distance offers enjoyable running trails though river parks and pine forest, as you head towards Valencia’s buzzing centre. Combining the best of accessible nature and city landmarks. Valencia is an incredible mix between modernism and tradition and makes a great base for a long weekend of adventure and sightseeing.

EcoTrail Valencia Itineraries

Thursday, 27 October

Arrival at the NH Collection Valencia Colon for those on the 3 and 4 night packages. Check-in is open from 3pm. At 6pm you have the option to join a city orientation light run (subject to meeting group minimum number of 5).

Friday, 28 October

Today, those on the 2-night package will arrive. A 48-hour tourist card will be available for you to collect from reception after your included breakfast Activate your card and make use of free transport and discounted attractions across the city. Explore at leisure. This afternoon, you will head over to the race registration (Between 4pm and 8pm) to collect your runner packs.

Saturday, 29 October

It’s RACE DAY. After an early breakfast we will make our way to the race start. The three distance start times are as follows; 80km – 9am, 43km – 8.30am and 20km – 9.30km. The start and end point for all distances is the beautiful Jardin del Turia gardens, in the heart of the historic centre and an approximately 13 minutes’ walk back to the hotel. The evening is free for you to celebrate your achievement however you like.

Sunday, 30 October

Today’s a recovery day. Those on the 2 and 3-night package will checkout and depart the trip. For those staying on, take the opportunity to explore central Valencia, with its many great sites. Discover the lagoon at Albufera, best enjoyed at sunset, sample some the area’s best-known dish - paella, or enjoy views from the Miguelete tower of the Cathedral.

Monday, 31 October

2nd departure day. Today’s our final farewells as those on the 4-night package will depart, which signals the end of our Eco-Trail Valencia experience together.
