Saturday 23 September, 2023 – Arrival Day, Expo Visit & Preparation

Make your own arrangements to arrive at our hotel in Berlin today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 3pm. You can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings while you wait for your room to be ready.

Today is your final opportunity to visit the BMW Berlin Marathon Expo, to collect your race bib. We strongly advise you to arrive as early as possible (or book an extra night to arrive on Friday) to ensure that do not miss the Expo > No Bib = No Race

If you arrived yesterday..there is an organised Breakfast Run for the international visitors today. It’s fun and welcomes runners from all nations, many wear their countries traditional dress or carry their nations flags. If the route returns to its original route it will start at the Charlottenburg Palace and finish 6kms later at the Olympic Stadium. It's free and you are not required to pre-register. Please let us know if you are interested and the Marathon Tours & Travel team will join you!

Sunday 24 September, 2023 – Berlin Marathon & Celebrations

This is the day you have trained so hard for! After an early breakfast please get ready to leave the hotel for the race start in the Tiergarten. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be.

Family and friends can travel by public transport to support and spectate along the race route or join our team at a cheer point on the marathon route. The Marathon Tours & Travel team will be happy to advise.

This evening meet your fellow runners and supporters to celebrate your achievement!

PAPS test

Before you start with the registration, you will be asked to take 2-3 minutes of time to protect your health by completing a non-binding and free health check.

Regular physical activity has a positive effect on your health. However, sport is no guarantee for a risk-free state of health. Familial risk factors, but also lifestyle-related risks are not always in direct correlation with your training condition and should be known in advance. Therefore, please be honest with yourself when answering the questions.

With the PAPS test, we want to help you become aware of your own state of health—there are no consequences for your eligibility to participate. The recommendation at the end of the test is made available to you for your personal and voluntary further use. The PAPS test does not replace a visit to the doctor and cannot provide 100% certainty of an existing or emerging risk. The collected, non-personalized data will not be handed over to the organiser. The data may be used in anonymised and encrypted form for scientific purposes by the Medical Board of SCC EVENTS.
