Your Itinerary

Saturday 1st April, 2023: Arrival Day

Make your own arrangements to arrive at your hotel in Brighton today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 3pm. If you arrive early, then you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings while you wait for the room to be ready.

What about my race bib collection?

For 2023 the race organisers will be posting race packs in advance. More details will be provided nearer to race day.

How do I contact Marathon Tours & Travel Team during my stay?

Marathon Tours & Travel staff will be available in your hotel. Times and contact numbers will be provided with your final documents and itinerary.

This evening Marathon Tours & Travel staff will host a meal in a local restaurant. The evening is designed to be a chance to relax with fellow Run Mummy Run members and enjoy a fabuolous meal together. There will a run through of the race and an opportunity to ask questions throughout the evening.

Sunday 2nd April, 2023: Race Day and check out

This is the day you have trained so hard for!

Unless you have booked extra nights with us then today, we ask that you check out of your room before leaving for the race. You can ask the hotel reception staff for a later check out but this is not guaranteed, will be subject to availability and could carry an extra payment. If a later check out is not possible the hotel will store luggage until you return after the race. 

Take an early breakfast in the hotel before making your way to the start.

How do I get to the race start and back from the finish?

The 10k starts at 9am and the Brighton Marathon starts 9.45am at Preston Park which is a straight forward 20 minute walk from our hotel. It’s a 15 minute walk back from the finish of both races, at the Beach Village by Brighton Pier.

The Beach Village will become a hive of activity and celebration as runners reunite with friends and family and enjoy the live footage on big screens, the Charity Village, food, bars and an atmosphere like no other at a running event.

After the race, celebrate…you deserve it!

How to book

To make your booking, click on the orange button at the top of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.

Payments

When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically.

The cost of the event entry is non-refundable.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is an essential part of any holiday you take, and we highly recommend that you purchase suitable insurance for your trip. You must ensure that your travel insurance policy covers you to participate in running events in the UK. 

Starting Pens and Bib Numbers

Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the 2023 Brighton Marathon, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.

Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Brighton Marathon. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided. 

All race information is subject to confirmation by the race organisers nearer to the time. Details will be provided with your final documents and itinerary.

About Brighton

Brighton is a seaside resort located within 50 miles of London.  

Travelling to Brighton is easy as the city is just a 60 minute train ride from London and only 30 minutes train ride from Gatwick Airport. Brighton Station is right in the city centre so you will be able to smell the sea as soon as you step off the train.
