Sunday 13th August – Arrival Day & Indoor Cycling World Championships
Please make your own arrangements to arrive in Glasgow city centre and check into the hotel.
Make your way from the hotel in the city centre to the event venue at the Emirates Arena. The Emirates Arena is in the east end of Glasgow, opposite Celtic Park. It is easy to access - with regular trains to Dalmarnock or Bridgeton, local taxis or walking and cycling from the city centre.
Today in the Arena, the Indoor Cycling World Championships reach their conclusion with the final Cycle-Ball group matches before their medal matches. In the Artistic Cycling, it’s the turn of the Single Men and Pair Women – both of whom have qualifying and then finals to show off their hair-raising acrobatic skills.
You will have the evening free to eat out in one of Glasgow’s many restaurants or soak up the atmosphere of the city in a lively bar.
