Paris Half Marathon 2023 - Accommodation Package

Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before or depart on different days to the following itinerary. The itinerary below reflects the 3 nights package. Paris is beautiful with plenty to see and do so we recommend extra nights. Optional tours can be arranged.

Friday 3 March, 2023 : Travel to Paris

Make your own arrangements to arrive at our hotel in Paris today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 2pm. You can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings while you wait for the room to be ready.

We are staying at the Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon Opéra Bastille which includes breakfast after each night’s stay.

What about my race bib collection?

All Paris Half Marathon race entries must be collected from race registration and expo. Our staff in Paris will do a guided trip to and from the Expo this afternoon. The time will be provided with your final documents and itinerary.

How do I contact Marathon Tours & Travel staff during my stay?

Marathon Tours & Travel staff with local knowledge of Paris and the race will be available at certain times in the reception area of the hotel. Times and contact numbers will be provided with your final documents and itinerary. 

The rest of the day and evening is free for you to enjoy Paris at your leisure.

Saturday 4 March, 2023 : Preparation Day with optional orientation run

After breakfast Marathon Tours & Travel staff invite all our runners to join us for an easy run. The route will take you from Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon Opéra Bastille to the start and finish area and is not expected to be longer than 5km. Supporters are very welcome to join too. 

Race bib collection

If you didn’t collect your bib yesterday, please do so this morning. There is no possibility of bib collection on race day. Our staff in Paris will do a guided trip to and from the Expo later this this morning. Time will be provided with your final documents and itinerary

The rest of the day and evening is free for you to enjoy Paris at your leisure.

Sunday 5 March, 2023 : The Harmonie Mutuelle Semi De Paris

This is the day you have trained so hard for! 

Early breakfast is arranged in the hotel. 

How do I get to the race start?

From Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon Opéra Bastille it is approx. 15 minutes’ walk to the race start area on the Boulevard Henri IV.

On arrival at the start please follow the instructions of the race officials. 

The 2023 Paris Half Marathon 

The Paris Half Marathon is 21.1km of fun and we know it will be an experience you will not forget. Your training is now done, the race is here and soon you will be wearing a well-deserved medal! 

Family and friends who did not enter the half marathon?

You can travel by foot or public transport in your own time and pace to support and spectate along the race route. The Marathon Tours & Travel staff will be happy to advise. 

After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate…you deserve it!

How do I get to my hotel from the race finish?

It is approx. 10 minutes’ walk from the race finish area on Rue du Lyon to the Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon Opéra Bastille

Monday 6 March, 2023 : Departure

Unless you have booked extra nights with us then today, we ask that you check out of your room before 12 noon, and we say thank you for joining us. It’s not goodbye but instead we’ll see you next time as we hope you will join us for another Marathon Tours & Travel.

Starting Pens and Bib Numbers

Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the 2023 Paris Half Marathon, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.

Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Paris Half Marathon. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information you provide. 

How to book

To make your booking, click on the orange button at the top of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.

Payments

When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically. The cost of the event entry is non-refundable.

Medical certificate

Please note that you need a medical certificate to take part in the 2023 Paris Half Marathon. 

All runners must provide a medical certificate stating that there is no medical indication that they cannot take part in a competitive running event. Medical certificates must be uploaded to the runner’s personal account before the event. Runners must have been born in 2004 or before. The certificate must be dated less than a year prior to the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athletics competition » or « sport in competition »).
