One of the toughest weeks in amateur cycling, the Haute Route Alps is the flagship event of the Haute Route Cycling Series. This is a week of cycling bucket list climbs made famous by the Tour de France. A lot of it is spent at altitude with several cols over 2,000 metres above sea level. In 2022, the peloton will start in Nice and after 7 stages it will finish in Megeve. The new course will be making stops at host towns that the Haute Route has never visited before.

Here at Destination Sport Experiences we are proud to be an official partner of the Haute Route series. We have years of experience of organising travel and support packages to the Haute Route and we’re looking forward to supporting amateur cyclists again in the Alps.

Saturday 20 August, 2022 : Travel to Nice and Race Registraion

Travel to Nice

Typically Race Registration closes by 5.00pm local time, and so we encourage you to arrive into Nice by lunchtime to collect your race pack.

Sunday 21 August, 2022 : Stage 1 – Nice to Cuneo (181km/4100 m+)

Monday 22 August, 2022 : Stage 2 - Cuneo to Col d’Izoard (118km/3600 m+)

Tuesday 23 August, 2022 : Stage 3 - Serre Chevalier Briançon to Les 2 Alpes (108km/3200 m+)

Wednesday 24 August, 2022 : Stage 4 - Les 2 Alpes to Meribel (152km/4100 m+)

Thursday 25 August, 2022 : Stage 5 - Meribel to Col de la Loze (Time Trial) (10km/850 m+)

Friday 26 August, 2022 : Stage 6 - Meribel to Megève (138km/3500 m+)

Saturday 27 August, 2022 : Stage 7 - Megève to Megève (99km/2400 m+
