Friday, 7th July 2023 : Arrival Day
Travel
Make your own arrangements to arrive at your chosen hotel today. Our team will be available to meet you at the hotel. If you plan to fly then we offer airport transfers for you, your luggage and your bike.
Geneva Airport Transfers - optional extra
If you are arriving today at Geneva Airport, you can book onto our optional transfer to Les Gets. Transfers will operate between 10am and 7pm. You should allow at least one hour between flight arrival and clearing luggage / immigration. For this reason, anyone on flights arriving after 6pm will need to arrange for private transfers...

Our hotels and apartments
We offer hotels and apartments with different star ratings. Board basis is B&B, Half Board and self catering. If you have breakfast included then you will have an early breakfast on Etape du Tour day
What about my bike?
You can bring your own bike as we will make arrangements to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with fitting your rental bike or building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel.
This afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you. The evening is free for you to eat out if you don’t have evening meal included at your hotel.
Saturday, 8th July 2023 : Preparation day
After breakfast and preparing the bikes, we will take you on a supported, guided ride. We’ll be back at the hotel in the afternoon for you to rest and get prepared for tomorrow.
Bike collection
Today, we will ask you to drop your bike off to us in Morzine. We will take your bike to Annemasse for you where it will be stored securely overnight near the start.
Once you've dropped your bike in Morzine, we will offer a shuttle service back to Les Gets.
Bib Collection
There's no need for you to visit the race expo in Annemasse - Sportive Breaks will collect your bib on your behalf and bring it to Morzine (you will collect this when you drop your bike to us) ...
Expo Visit - optional visit @ £15
...however, if you do want to visit the expo, then we have an optional visit that will head to Annemasse on Saturday morning. You can book this during the check-out process. We'll still bring your bib to Morzine for you so you don't have to worry about that.
This evening our bike guides will do a race briefing to run through Etape day logistics and of course the route.
The evening is free for you to eat at your hotel or eat out at a local restaurant.
Sunday, 9th July 2023 : The 2023 Etape du Tour
We have an early start this morning. Early breakfasts are arranged in the hotel restaurants. Those who have booked self-catering residences need to ensure they prepare their own breakfasts this morning.
Transfer to the start
This morning we will transfer you to Annemasse for the start of the 2023 Etape du Tour. Your bike will already be there so no need to worry about it this morning.
For those of you who have driven from the UK or who have rented a car, please ensure that you leave plenty of time to get to the start and find your start pen.
The 2023 Etape du Tour
The Etape du Tour start is done in waves. You will be allocated a start pen with a time that you have to enter the pen plus a start time. Previous editions have started between 07:00 and 08:30. The Etape du Tour is a race with cut off points. You need to have passed certain points on the route at a certain time otherwise you will be eliminated from the route. If you’re eliminated your bike will go on a bike trailer and you will be transported to the finish.
This afternoon and early evening we’ll assist you with re-packing your bikes ahead of travel and you’ll also be able to return your rental bikes with us.
At the finish area, join our team for a celebratory beer!
Once you're ready, you can either ride the 7km from Morzine back to Les Gets or take our shuttle service.
Monday, 10th July 2023 : Departure day
After breakfast we offer our optional transfers back to Geneva airport. We advise you not to book any early flights as it will be a mega early start (factor in a 2 hour check-in, plus transfer time from resort).
Departure Transfers - optional extra
Our transfers will start to operate from 6.30am from Les Gets. This will connect with flights that depart from Geneva Airport after 10am (allowing for transfer time and check-in).
