Guaranteed Entry

We are very pleased to offer you guaranteed entry into the Ecotrail Wicklow 2022. Book entry with one of our 3 or 4 night packages which are ABTA protected.

Stay In Dublin City Centre From £269

Our hotel partner for this event is the brand new StayCity Dublin City Centre, where you can enjoy a stay of 3 or 4 nights. The property is close by to public transportation links connecting you to Wicklow easily.

Eco-responsibility

DSE support the EcoTrail concept: use the natural trails of urban areas to offer various race distances to runners and help them understand the importance of protecting natural environments. A concerning issue that keeps on increasing.

EcoTrail Wicklow Itineraries

Thursday, 22 September

Arrival at the Staycity Aparthotel Dublin City Centre for check-in from 3pm. We recommend the Dublin Express bus from Terminals 1 or 2. Alight at the Wellington Quay stop, a 5-minute walk to the property. Simply walk across Gratton Bridge and continue straight to Little Mary Street. 6pm you have the option to join a city orientation light run (subject to meeting group minimum number of 5).

Friday, 23 September

Today you will get acquainted with Wicklow’s National Park and meet other race participants on an included tour of the Glendough Valley. The bus will leave Bray Dart Station at 10.30am. You will visit Glendalough Monastic Site, the valley of the two lakes and the Spinc walk. Bray Dart Station is easily accessible from Pearse Dart station in Dublin and takes approximately 40 minutes. The bus will drop you back in Bray at approx. 4.15pm for race registration. The evening is free for you to enjoy at leisure and prepare for the challenge ahead.

Saturday, 24 September

It’s RACE DAY. After an early breakfast we will make our way to the race start at the Bray Seaside Prominade. If you are racing the 80km there will be a 6am shuttle, put on for athletes, to make the 7.30am start. All other distances will take the DART from Tara Street Station to Bray. The rail is a great way to enjoy beautiful views of the countryside and coastline as you get ready to take on your epic trail adventure. Make your way back to Dublin in your own time. The evening is free for you to celebrate your achievement however you like.

Sunday, 25 September

Today’s a recovery day. Those on the 3-night package will checkout and depart the trip. For those staying on, take the opportunity to explore central Dublin, with its many great sites. Relax at St Stephens Green, explore museums, go tasting at a distillery or hang out in one of the many live music spots.

Monday, 26 September

2nd departure day. Today’s our final farewells as those on the 4-night package will depart, which signals the end of our Eco-Trail Wicklow experience together.
