Your Itinerary
Depending on the length of stay you have booked with us you might arrive before or depart on different days to the following itinerary. The itinerary below reflects the 2 nights package for INEOS, arriving Saturday.
Saturday 9 March, 2024 – Arrival Day
Make your own arrangements to arrive at Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza in Barcelona today. Usually, hotel rooms are ready to check in after 3:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and explore your surroundings.
Race numbers and t-shirts for runners registered via INEOS will be collected by Marathon Tours & Travel in advance and given out today at the meeting. There is no possibility of bib collection on race day.
It is therefore not required to attend the Expo but if you wish to visit the EXPO to shop and visit the exhibitors please find later in this document.
INEOS will be hosting a meeting at 4pm in your hotel. More details will be provided nearer to the time.
Sunday 10 March, 2024 – Race Day and celebrations!
Breakfast will be available early. Those running the Barcelona Marathon will easily be able to walk or take the metro to the start. The race start/finish venue is under review and as soon as we have that information from the race organisers, we will be able to advise on the best way to get to the start and back from the finish. Please follow instructions given by INEOS so you can leave together and take a group photo.
Please arrive early to the start and follow the instructions of the race officials.
After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate…you deserve it!

Monday 11 March, 2024 – Departure Day
Unless you have booked extra nights, please check out of your room this morning. Safe travels and we hope you enjoyed your Barcelona Marathon experience!
