We are pleased to offer a special 2024 VIP Package. This is for the traveller that wishes to have logistics taken care of for them, including a private coach to Hopkinton on race morning! Additional features include a four-night stay at the ideally situated Marriott Copley Hotel, a Welcome Reception, and a Pre-Race Pasta Dinner with a special guest speaker. To compliment your package, we highly recommend participating in the Boston Marathon Course Tour, which is offered on Saturday 13 April 2:00pm and Sunday 14 April at 10:00am. Details regarding the EXPO and packet pickup will be updated as soon as additional information is shared by the B.A.A.

Itinerary:

Friday 12 April, 2024 – Arrival Day

Arrive in Boston and check-in to your hotel. This afternoon and evening is on your own to enjoy the many fine restaurants, bars, and cafes in Boston.

Saturday 13 April, 2024 – Boston Marathon Course Tour (optional)

Today is a free day. We strongly suggest you reserve a spot for the official Boston Marathon Course Tour, which is planned for 2:00pm. This is optional and is open to runners and supporters for £35 per person. It departs from the Sheraton Boston Hotel and tickets must be purchased in advance. This evening we will gather for a special Welcome Reception.

Sunday 14 April, 2024 – Boston Marathon Course Tour (optional) & Pre-race Dinner

You will have the day to sight see in Boston. We can offer a number of suggestions of sightseeing ideas and activities while visiting Bean Town. The Boston Marathon Course Tour is available again today at 10:00 AM. This is optional and is open to runners and supporters for £35 per person. Join us this evening for our pre-race dinner.

Monday 15 April, 2024 – Race Day & Post-race Celebration

It’s an early morning departure in our Private Coach from the Marriott Copley Hotel to Hopkinton. This is to ensure you arrive in time according to the B.A.A. guidelines and security. Following the race you will have the afternoon to recharge and then we invite you to start your evening at our post-race celebration reception.

Tuesday 16 April, 2024 – Departure Day

Enjoy a leisurely morning before checking out by 12:00pm.

How to Book

To make your booking, click on the orange button at the top of the page, ensuring that you select the correct number of rooms and types for all members in your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.

Payments

When you confirm your booking, we will take a deposit payment. Subsequent payments are taken automatically. The cost of the event entry is non-refundable.

Travel Advice

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travellers to take out comprehensive travel insurance with sufficient healthcare cover, including cover for existing medical conditions and any activities you plan to do.

You must ensure that your travel insurance policy covers you to participate in running events in the UK.

Entry Fee

We do not sell Boston Marathon race entries. Each runner must secure their bib directly with the B.A.A.

Security Policy

Marathon Tours & Travel's security policy requires that anyone staying in our room block must be registered as part of our package. If a registered client attempts to house a non-registered guest and/or invite them to attend any of our scheduled activities, the registered guest’s tour package will be forfeited and parties may be denied access to future tours. Please note that no exceptions will be made as this policy will be strictly enforced.
