Comrades Marathon 2025 – Pre-Registration

Pre-registration guarantees your entry to this incredible event and exclusive access to our package choices. 

- Exclusive access: Once packages are ready, Seven Continents Club® members will receive first exclusive access to choose their preferred package. The remaining available packages will then be sent to the other pre-registered customers to choose and secure before packages and entries open online for general sale. 

- No risk: Your pre-registration payment will be credited towards your total package cost after booking. Subject to conditions, if packages do not meet your satisfaction, you can cancel your request and we will refund your £100 payment.

2025 Comrades Marathon Details

Date TBC. The exact date for the 2025 Comrades Marathon is still to be confirmed. Do not book any flights until confirmed details are known and we have advised you of the package choices.

Whilst we expect 2025 will be a Down Run, starting in Pietermaritzburg at 5.30am on a Sunday in June 2025 and finishing in Durban at 5.30pm this is yet to be confirmed by Comrades Marathon. Regardless you can be sure of Marathon Tours & Travel support.

2025 Comrades Marathon Details

Back-to-Back

Any novice who completes Comrades Marathon 2023 within the rules will receive a back-to-back medal in addition to their Comrades Marathon medal when finishing 2025 before the cut off time. 

Time Limits & Cut Offs:

The race will have batch wave starts and be timed “mat-to-mat”. The cut-off times for these points will be confirmed in the final race instructions. For more specific information please refer directly to the Comrades website.

Qualification Requirement:

All entrants are required to meet the Comrades Marathon qualifying criteria. Failure to meet the qualifying criteria will result in your entry being rejected. Generally speaking you need to have completed a standard marathon in a time of sub 4 hours 50 minutes and between the preceding September and May.
