Gran Piemonte 2024 - Start Experience

The Gran Piemonte is the final big test ahead of Il Lombardia. This race has a different character compared with other autumn Classics. The race is more suited to climbers with longer climbs rather than repeated shorter climbs. The route will be announced later in 2024. It is unusual for a rider to win both Gran Piemonte and Il Lombardia as the favourites prefer to hold something in reserve for the Monument. 

In 2023 the race began in Borgofranco d’Ivrea and it finished in Favria. Both are easily accessible from Turin which is 50 kilometres away.

GIRO CLUB

Giro Club is the hospitality service that takes guests into the heart of the race to experience the Gran Piemonte from an exclusive perspective.

Two VIP Hospitality Areas, one at the Start, to enjoy the thrilling atmosphere of the preliminary moments of the race and attend the sign-on ceremony, and one at the Finish Line, to catch the final moments of the race from a privileged position.

The Drive Experience is aimed at those who want to experience the thrill of following the entire stage on board of an official VIP car. In this case, the day begins in the morning at the Start, continues with a ride in the VIP car that follows the race on the route and ends at the Finish Line, to enjoy the end of the race from a front-row seat.

Start Village

Experience the pre-race atmosphere:

At sunrise, there is the Start Village of Gran Piemonte which is the meeting place where the riders gather before setting off, along with sponsors, guests, and the Organization Management.

Upon arrival at the Start Area, guests will collect their passes to access the Hospitality Area near the signature podium, offering non-stop coffee/bar service. They will experience the exciting pre-race atmosphere and watch the sign-on ceremony.
