4-day / 3-night itinerary:
During these three days, you will ride through typical villages and their red houses and speed down the slopes of Normarka, Østmarka et Sognsvann, gorgeous forests that stretch around Oslo. Quite the change of scenery!
Our guide will introduce you to their culture and to this unique gravel; they will put you in perfect conditions to enjoy these fantastic tracks while improving your riding. Our goal is for you to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy the lakes and forests-filled landscapes.
Our passionate hosts will happily share their love for their land with you. Relaxing moments will allow you to disconnect, with yoga, meditation, relaxation - and of course, the famous Scandinavian sauna.?They will be key to helping you enjoy this unique experience to its fullest.

Thursday 27th June 2024: Arrival day
We will pick you, and your gravel bike if you are bringing your own, from Oslo airport at 6 pm followed by welcome drinks and bike fitting at Fara cycling centre.

Our hotel is the 4* Scandic Holmenkollen Park located in Holmenkollen, Oslo. This luxurious and recently renovated hotel boasts a large spa and indoor swimming pool with free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients to make Nordic specialities.
Friday 28th June 2024: Guided Ride
Starting off from Fara Cycling Centre, we will first pedal through Oslo city centre. We will depart from our Norwegian partner?Fara Cycling’s base located in the heart of Oslo, where they make state-of-the-art gravel bikes built for the trails of the Great North. Their passionate team will welcome you to their cycling center and kit you out for the next three days of adventure.
Check out the Fjord and the trendy area of Grunerlokka. We will follow the Akerselva, this little river that goes through the city, to escape the centre and reach the Nordmarka forest located North of the city.
In only a few kilometres' ride, you will find emerged in pine wood forests and perfect gravel tracks. Welcome to Gravel paradise made in Oslo! Hundreds of kilometres of only gravel routes and trees, perfect immersion for your day 1 in Norwegian nature.
Lunch break will be in Kikutstua, a typical lodge located by a lake, where locals love to stop during a day of riding, hiking or even snowing in wintertime.
Back at the hotel end of the day, right in time to enjoy the sun going down on the capital city.
Saturday 29th June 2024: Guided Ride
For day 2 we will head south, pass the city through its major parks and follow the fjord towards Svartskog. Amazing views of the city before diving into forests and islands for the rest of the day.
It’s a very different part of Oslo and its neighbourhood we will discover. Discovering amazing neighbourhoods along the fjord, you will discover how cool life is, deep in nature a few km from the city center.
Oslo is definitely a capital city immersed in nature between the forests and the fjord. And Norwegian live along with nature and outdoor activities. The idea of day 2 is the share with you this local passion for nature and love for the Outdoors.
We will be back in town by the ferry to offer another vision of the city and go straight to the local must-do activity: sauna on the fjord.
After this relaxing moment, it’s time for a drink and some food in one of the trendiest places in Oslo, still by the Fjord… live like a local!
Sunday 30th June 2024: Guided Ride & Departure Day
Departing from our hotel, straight into Nordmarka, we will bring you to the lake area of this forest. Hidden gravel routes that our guides only have the secret. Be ready for full immersion in pine forest and Norwegian nature. 100% gravel routes for day 3, you will love it!
Late Lunch in another typical place with a view on the Fjord before saying goodbye to this incredible city you will definitely fall in love with…
