Mallorca 312

Mallorca 312 has become one of the classic European sportives over the last few years. Join thousands of riders in riding some of the most beautiful roads and toughest climbs on the island. All routes are on closed roads. You can make your mind up on the day depending on how good your legs are. You can ride the 167km (100 miles) or go for the two longer distances for a real challenge (225km or 312km).

What is the Mallorca 312?

One of the biggest sportives on the calendar, 8,000 cyclists gather from around the world to ride the best roads on Mallorca on closed roads. There are three routes to choose from: the 167km, 225km, or the long distance of 312km.

The shortest route offers steady climbs, perfect for all abilities with plenty of opportunities to make new friends on the road. The medium course includes looping the coast and breathing in the fresh sea air. Last but certainly not least, the longer route is an endurance challenge and includes tackling two famous Mallorcan climbs.

Bike rental

You can bring your own bike as we have made arrangements to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend.

Entries and Pens

There is only one start time and it’s the same for everyone as it is a very quick and well-organised start from the main road. There is however a start order with a VIP pen ahead of the main start pen.

Your Itinerary

Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd 2025: Travel to Mallorca

Please make your own arrangements to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). Make your own way to your hotel today. Alternatively, book one of our airport transfers. You can add this as you make your way through our booking process. Please allow an hour from your flight landing time to your transfer time, to allow you to get through passport control and collect your luggage. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour.

If you need a transfer for a group larger than 4 people, then please contact us directly to discuss options.

Our Hotels

We offer a selection of 4-star hotels in Playa de Muro. All hotels are located within minutes of the start and finish in Playa de Muro. The hotels are booked on a Half Board basis, with breakfasts and evening meals included.

What about my bike?

You can bring your own bike as you can add a bike to our airport transfers at a cost of £40 for a return journey on top of the transfer price. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with building your own bike after travel.

Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend or for longer.

This afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you. We will have an evening meal together at the hotel. If you arrive on a late flight, please make alternative arrangements for the evening meal.

Thursday 24 April 2025: Thursday guided ride.

For information about arriving today, please refer to the information under Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you are already with us, then this morning you can join us on a guided ride. You’ll have the opportunity to see sections of the Mallorca 312 route.

Friday 25 April 2025: Preparation Day

After breakfast and any final bike adjustments, we will take you on a supported, guided ride. A short coffee spin has been organised to keep your legs moving, but nothing too strenuous the day before the sportive.

Registration & Expo

The bib collection will be from the expo, just a short walk distance from our hotels. Our staff will be available on hand in case assistance is needed.

This afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you.

Race Briefing

This evening our bike guides will do a race briefing to run through Mallorca 312 race day logistics and of course the route. We will have an evening meal together at the hotel.

Saturday 26 April 2025: The Mallorca 312

Today is the day! We have an early start this morning. Early breakfasts are arranged in the hotel restaurants.

Getting to the start

It’s just a short rollout from each of our hotels to the start line. Please make your own way to the start this morning, based on your own start time. Our staff will be on hand this morning if you have any last-minute mechanical issues, or if you need directions to the start line.

The pens are open from 06:00, ready for a 07:00 start. Participants are expected to complete the race any time between 13:00 (for those on the shorter route) and 21:00. We’ll meet you for post-ride beers at the hotels from 17.00.

We will have an evening meal together at the hotel this evening, where you can share tales of your exploits.

Sunday 27 April and Monday 28 April 2025: Departure

If you have booked airport transfers, then you will be allocated a transfer that departs your hotel at least 3 hours before your flight time, to allow sufficient time to get to the airport and check-in.

Sunday guided ride

If you are departing on Monday, join us on our cool-down ride on Sunday.

Need to Know

How to book

Please make your booking by clicking on the orange button at the top of the page. Please ensure that you select the correct room type for all members of your party plus all the required extras. When you book, we will require a deposit to confirm your place.

Who can take part?

The three routes are open to all cyclists over the age of 18 or over the age of 16 with the written and signed authorization of a parent or guardian. Participants under the age of 18, but over the age of 16, must submit the signed and scanned authorization mentioned above to: registrations@milestoneseries.cc within 20 days after the payment and registration have been submitted. After this period, it will be understood that the registered participant waives his/her registration and all the rights conferred by the participant’s status, including foregoing the collection of the participant’s bag.

An obligatory day license is included with your entry booked with Sportive Breaks

It is mandatory to be federated by the (RFEC) Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (Real Federación Española de Ciclismo), or each participant must pay 18€ for mandatory insurance (included with your entry). Participants are responsible for competing in the race and are also responsible for the risk involved. At the time of registration, participants agree that they are physically fit to compete in the race. Each cyclist states that he/she is in perfect health and can undertake the physical effort required for the race.

Location

The Mallorca 312 is a mythical cycling race that takes place on the largest Balearic island of Mallorca in April every year.

This cycling event is a tough challenge but you have a choice of distance depending on how well your training has gone over the winter. It's a tough challenge but also a great adventure as you journey through the most beautiful Mallorcan landscapes: the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the north of Mallorca, also known for its beaches, natural parks, and tradition.

You can choose between the complete route that gives its name to the race and consists of 312 kilometres, the intermediate route of 225 kilometres, and the shortest route, with 167 kilometres. All distances start and finish in Playa de Muro. The roads are closed to traffic for the duration of the event.
