The world’s greatest festival of cycling returns on Sunday 26 May 2024, with a new format, exciting new routes and a new partnership with the English County of Essex.

Sportive Breaks offer hotel packages near the finish for 1, 2 or 3 nights. Choose to stay Friday and Saturday, just Saturday, Saturday and Sunday or Friday to Saturday. Longer stays are also available.

The Ford RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex. It will start and finish in the centre of the capital, with 60 miles of rolling roads through some of Essex’s most beautiful countryside and villages in between.

The route has not been announced yet but we expect it to be the same as in 2023 with start on the Embankment and finish at Tower Bridge. full route

We expect the event to sell out again. In 2023, the first 10,000 entries sold out in record time and the result of the entry lottery was announced at the end of February. Demand for hotel rooms is already high but we've secured two great hotels near the start and finish.

We invite you to stay with us in the centre of London within minutes of the start and the finish of the Ride London Essex 100 Sportive. You can choose from 1, 2 or 3 nights and longer stays are also available. Throughout the weekend, you can make use of our mechanic. Bikes can be stored in your room.

*Family Twin rooms have a King size bed and a truckle bed (roll out bed). These rooms can be booked for one or two people.

**Family Triple rooms have a King size bed and two truckle beds (roll out beds). these rooms are suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.

Please make your own arrangements to arrive at our hotel in London today. Our team will be available to meet you at the hotel Travelodge which is our base for the weekend.

What about my bike?

Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel inside your room.

This afternoon and early evening, our tour leader and bike mechanic are available for you.

Saturday 25 May 2024 : Arrival day

It's possible to arrive today at the hotel.

Depending on the route, there may be the opportunity to watch the Women’s Classique.

Essex will host stages one and two of the new three-day road race, part of the UCI Women’s WorldTour, which will be held from 26th to 28th May, and is once again set to attract the world’s best teams and riders.

Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel inside your room.

This afternoon and early evening, our tour leader and bike mechanic are available for you.

Sunday 26 May 2024 : The 2023 Ride London Essex 100

The start and finish of the event today will be near our hotel so it’s easy to get to and from the finish.

The RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex. It will start and finish in the centre of the capital, with 60 miles of rolling roads through some of Essex’s most beautiful countryside and villages in between.

This afternoon and early evening we’ll assist you with re-packing your bikes ahead of travel. We’ll be back at the hotel in the afternoon.

For those who are departing today, please check out of the hotel before you start and the hotel offers a luggage storage facility.
