Vuelta a Espana Hospitality
Destination Sport Experiences are your Official Tour Operator for the 2022 Vuelta a Espana which takes place from Friday August 19th until September 11th.
The 77th edition of the Spanish Grand Tour has its Grande Partenza in Utrecht, Netherlands after the Dutch Grand Depart was postponed in 2020. Over its 21 stages, the Vuelta has 12 new start locations and 11 new finish-lines. For the first time in its history, all 8 Andalusian provinces are visited. There will be 9 high-altitude finishes of which 5 brand new ones. With 2 time trials, 7 mountain stages, 4 mid-mountain stages, 6 flat stages and 2 flat stages with high-altitude finales, the 2022 Vuelta is one for the climbers.
We are thrilled to be an Official Tour operator for one of the most prestigious events in cycling - the Vuelta a Espana. We will be offering unforgettable VIP Hospitality experiences and Vuelta a Espana cycling tours with hotels and VIP experiences included.
Final Stage Finish Hospitality - £300per person.
The final stage in Madrid is extra special, with a high quality hospitality experience at the finish in the centre of Madrid. With several laps of the finish circuit, you'll be right in front of the action. The final stage traditionally starts in a friendly and celebratory manor, before the tempo ramps up lap-by-lap, before a sprint finish.
As well as the racing action, you'll be in prime position to witness the final jersey and trophy presentations.
The below hospitality options are also available:
The Final Weekend - Hotel from £119pp.
The final weekend is extra special with a high quality hospitality experience at the finish in the centre of Madrid. We offer a hotel stay for 1 or 2 nights nearby which makes it a great excuse for a city trip.
Start Hospitality - £70 per person
Every day, in the start town, tickets are available to access the hospitality area at the start. Guests of the official Vuelta Start Village watch the riders get ready and witness the sign-on ceremony whilst enjoying drinks and snacks. This is an excellent way to see more of the riders and to have a look at the team buses, the amazing bikes and to see the team’s support workers like mechanics do their job. The Vuelta as a race is far more relaxed than the Tour de France or even the Giro d’Italia so you can get closer to the riders for photos and autographs.
Start to Finish experience - £960 per person
On most stages, places are available in an official VIP Car that follows the race. This is a full day that starts with enjoying start village followed by driving on the course and enjoying food and drinks along the way. Your driver and guide for the day is a former Pro rider who shares insights along the way. The day finishes in style with hospitality at the finish line. On some stages a short flight in a helicopter can be added to this fantastic day as well.
